Twas the week of the Classic and I am out of the house,
With many, many baits but none that look like a mouse.
The rods were all strung and my hooks sticky sharp,
Just praying they will be in bass and not in carp.
It won’t be long and my wife will be giving birth to our latest edition. I usually don’t get too personal with my blogs but HAD to mention it. We are almost all done getting everything ready for our new princess. It is less than 2 weeks until the due date so time is really closing in. We are super excited. And yes, I will write a piece about that.
Since I have started fishing tournaments, I have always known that a career as a pro angler can lead to many opportunities that anyone else in the world would not have. Finding the right business avenue to explore this opportunity became clear a few years back. It is not a TV show. It is not what some people might think would be a clear choice. For me, I knew I wanted to start my own fishing lure business. On January 5, 2012, the launch is here.
Bass anglers all over have one thing in common. We love fishing tackle. We love rods, reels, crankbaits, spinner baits, hooks, line, jigs, skirts, and more. Every little thing you can catch a bass on is fun and interesting. The rods and reels are made out of high-tech, space-age, materials that are stronger than steel and light as a feather. The lures come in colors that span the rainbow and some even glow in the dark. Sounds like something a kid would be excited about on Christmas to me.
